Rainow is a beautiful but very small little village with...
Rainow is a beautiful but very small little village with great local walks and beautiful surroundings but limited facilities. When we arrived we were initially led down a closed road by Google Maps and had to work out an alternative way in as there is limited access. Once there we were able to park on the road. There are lots of amazing walks around this area and we used an app to find a 3 hour walk down to a local historic chapel and back. Locally there is a pub called the Robin Hood Inn which is really your only option for going out for food and drink without going further afield. The people there were lovely. Overall I would recommend staying in Rainow for a weekend trip to enjoy the walking and sights but I wouldn't personally stay for a long trip.Guest review bybolt_pantherUnited Kingdom - 10.0
