a great, quiet location for visiting north Wales.

a great, quiet location for visiting north Wales. Short distance to a pub/cafe or the main road, also able to walk to a supermarket and a couple of restaurant/takeaways. Has a historic castle, on a river.

A small town, the sort you could walk round in an hour.

A small town, the sort you could walk round in an hour. Some shops, a Spar, take aways and pubs, it has enough to occupy you for a short break. We had a take away from the Fei Von Chinese restaurant and it was lovely! The castle ruins we not open (opens March) so we couldn't walk round, but there are other walks in the area.

Lovely little place within walking distance of the castle...

Lovely little place within walking distance of the castle and town. The castle is a must see and very interesting to read all the information around the site. Maps all around the town explain all the history and places of interest. Rhyl is a very short drive away even manageable on a push bike. The scenery is breathtaking.

gorgeous little cottage overlooking Rhuddlan Castle ,we came for a four day mini moon and there was a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us which was very thoughtful , thank you ! The bed is VERY comfy .. I didn’t want to get up in the morning ! nice little outside seating area and the utility room with washing machine and dishwasher is a handy feature if you are staying longer . you just can’t tire of the beautiful view every morning . A lovely restful stay

The location was perfect as a base to visit all around the area of Colwyn bay,Llandudno, Rhyl and Conwy. Rhuddlan castle and village on the doorstep yet peacefully quiet. The garden suite was spacious immaculately clean and the large enclosed garden with hot tub made for a very relaxing stay for us and our dog.The shower was excellent and the bed was comfy. We definitely will book this up again.

Well presented, warm, cosy and clean. Liked the layout of the property. Board games, jigsaws were available. Very nice gesture as host left a bottle of proseco on arrival. St Mary's had a craft fair on, and Rhuddlan Castle 5 mins up the road. Great local fish and chips at Pudding and Pie. We'll defo book again. Tony the host was on hand to answer any queries.

The cottage was immaculate, cosy, well presented and had everything we needed. My very fussy parents couldn't find fault. The little village had shops, pubs, takeaways... if you wanted a cosy and chilled hideaway you wouldn't have to step out of Rhuddlan

This is a really lovely little cottage. The owner goes the extra mile, it's well equipped and even had a little sparkly extra. Rhuddlan is a good base for exploring with lots of reasonable places to eat. Thanks for a great staycation
