Everything, clean, tidy honestly the place is stunning. I have managed hotels in the last year and so i know what is expected. Everything is there in the kitchen for what you need. The log fire is lovely and warm. Its so peaceful and relaxing. The bed is so comfy. Ermm defiantly 10/10 :)

I had a last minute booking with late arrival.Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also excellent (much better than usually expected from a buffet.

Had dinner both nights and enjoyed all meals very much, also it was lovely listening to the wedding party music as we ate. It was very interesting to see what goes on wedding related at Gretna Green. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were very helpful. Well done to all, keep up the great work.

It was a long day driving from London. I reached the mill forge after 5 PM and I picked up the key from the bar as the reception was already closed. The 2 ladies there are very polite and kind and we ordered a dinner as well. I liked the location and facilities and I took nice photos Breakfast is good as well although not much options there but Mr. Richard was very nice and helped us a lot.

    Very small and remote with nothing to do, really.

    Very small and remote with nothing to do, really. If you just want a breather and enjoy rural quietness, then this is for you. Other than that you need a car to explore all the things in the surrounding area, like old castles or ruins etc.

    Small village, fairly quiet.

    Small village, fairly quiet. No shops, pubs etc, just the dairy but only a couple of miles from Gretna and about 5 miles from Annan where there's a decent variety of local cafes, pubs, shops and supermarkets
