For us it was perfect.
For us it was perfect. My wife Julia was born and raised in Rocester although we now live in Cheshire. The area around Rocester is quite beautiful especially going into Derbyshire, Ashbourne etc. The locals are super friendly and there are some idyllic walks available. Maybe along the River Dove or the River Churnett. Most places in Rocester are walkable but a trip out to Ashbourne and surrounding area is very worth while.
