Very welcoming and friendly hosts, who couldn't do enough for you. The place was very well fitted out to a high standard. They had thought of everything, including providing a wide range of hot drinks for you to make with the facilities provided, which included a Nespresso machine. The decor, carpets and curtains looked brand new and were lovely. The bathroom was perfect and there were toiletries provided. The breakfast was very generous and delicious, and included plenty of fresh fruit. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen was good.

Kevin was the perfect host. He made sure everything was alright. The bed was really really comfortable, the room was very cozy. Kevin left coffee, tea and biscuits. The price-quality relation is really good. Breakfast was also very good.

    I stayed here recently and overall had a good experience.

    I stayed here recently and overall had a good experience. The room was a good size, clean, and comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. However, the address and postcode were a little confusing, especially if you're not familiar with the village, so finding it can take a bit of patience. That said, the owner is very friendly and helpful, and if you do get lost, he’s more than happy to guide you. My biggest issue was the lack of air conditioning — while a fan was provided, it really wasn’t enough in the current heat, which made the room quite uncomfortable at times. Aside from that, it’s a nice place to stay, and with clearer directions and cooler weather, I’d happily return.

    Convenient to Southwell Race Course. Free parking. Free Wifi. Impeccably clean. Welcoming to pets. Good television. Well thought out accommodation, reasonably priced. But the double room is very very small for a couple with a pet. No breakfast offered as simply marketed as a room, but there is no pub next door open for food either at breakfast or dinner. A previous review had mentioned the pub next door where they had breakfasted but this is no longer in business. The double room is perfect accommodation for a single traveler or single traveler with a dog who is visiting the area but eating elsewhere with friends or family. It is as has been marketed, a room in Rolleston.
