Buses to the Eden project left from the railway station...
Buses to the Eden project left from the railway station which was 5minutes away. No buses to the Heligan gardens on a Sunday so had to take taxis. Didn’t visit St Austell but hotel is close to Lost Gardens of Heligan, Looe, Polperro and about 45 minutes from Trebah Gardens in Falmouth. All are well worth a visit. Hotel is also a very short walk from Britannia Inn where we had a lovely meal.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

I booked online and then contacted the hotel to let them know when they were coming, somewhat stressed (!!) and they helped arrange putting wine in the room for their arrival. The hotel was already making the room up for them. We stayed in a building separate from the main hotel, so had to walk up for breakfast, which wasn’t an issue and on weekends, it might actually be preferable. There’s no lift in this building and the stairs are quite narrow, just for your information. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Charlestown and close to the Eden Project. Even on a grey and rainy day it still looked beautiful! I booked only 30 minutes before arriving and was pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade to a suite with sea view.
