We found the area very pleasant & local people we met very friendly .We used the apartment as a base for touring about & was very pleasant to return to in the evenings .Nice walk down by the shore .Ideal for anyone with a dog. Edinburgh & surrounding areas are easily accessible by car or train. We did not eat out but proprietor gave us lots of suggestions of places to go .
