Widemouth Manor

Bude (Near Saint Gennys)

The Widemouth Manor is a warm friendly pub/ hotel and looks out over the sandy bay which is famous for its surfing. Just off the A39, access to Devon and Cornwall could not be better.

WM was our last stay on our Cornish Adventure, and we could not have asked for a better ending. WM welcomed us with open arms and provided us with flexible accommodation, great drinks and amazing food in the evening, overlooking the sea and we found ourselves drifting into the sunset with the magical view this place provides. Beds and rooms were superb. Food was plentiful and tasty, fresh Sea bass, Tennessee chicken bursting with flavor and you must try the local specialty if you can - the RIBS!!! A heartfelt thank you WM for just being who you are and giving us this experience and sanctuary after some staying-experiences which had downed our spirits a bit. Would have loved to stayed longer and use WM as a base of exploration, but maybe next time :-)

- Liz's and family farm is an exceptional location to spend a couple of days exploring the north coast of Cornwall - situated between the villages of Boscastle and Tintagel. It was one of the nicest rooms we had on our tour. The reception was incredibly friendly and warm. We felt welcome and at home.
