My wife and I are huge fans of all of west Wales. Lovely towns and villages, welcoming people and excellent beaches and countryside. Saundersfoot is a lovely seaside town with a great beach, lively harbour and plenty of shops, bars and eating places. It's a great walking area as well with adjacent villages such as Wiseman's Bridge and Amroth within walking distance. Tenby is a larger town with all the amenities and is only a 5 minute drive away. Lovely place to visit.
Lovely place to visit. Parking was very close to the beach but limited spaces. Had to drive around for a short time before finding a space. Cost of parking a little more expensive than parking in town. My daughter and granddaughter have coeliacs disease. The Boat house pub was an excellent place to eat. For a small town Saundersfoot has loads of shops, cafes, and restaurants. We were spoilt for choice for places to eat supper, and as a family group (with 3 generations to cater for) it was easy to find places that suited all tastes.The Boat house was our favourite, followed by HARBWR and Kookaba. The property was located just a short walk into Saudersfoot and Glen Beach which we found really convenient. Plenty of options for food and drink and a fantastic beach and walks. Clean and tidy with good facilities for us as a couple and for the dog - lovely little safe garden area where he could happily stroll around whilst we were able to keep a close eye on him from the comfort of the sitting room. Shower was also lovely!! Bonus having two bathrooms. Not too far from Saundersfoot. Lovely little stroll into the harbour in the mornings with the dog.
