First of all, they have the best staff - from the front desk staff to the housekeepers. They truly have shown that they loved their jobs and their commitment to making the guests comfortable. Very friendly and responsive too. Secondly, everything in hotel seemed new. The bed was very comfortable. When my son flew in on the last night we were there, and had wanted to sleep with us before he were going to his dorm in Durham University, the hotel staff was quick to set up the sofa bed in our room. My son said it was the most comfortable sofa bed he had slept in. Parking was ample and the McDonalds next door was a bonus as we would have quick breakfast there every morning.

Im could not explore too much the area.

Im could not explore too much the area. My impresion is that it is not very nice area for sights but has some pubs and restaurants. IT is close and well connected to other bigger areas to get there by car.
