Just how wonderfully it had been restored with up to date comforts and amazing en-suite with super cool barn doors and sash windows you can open!!! We slept like babies in the bed after a lovely meal in the restaurant and woke up refreshed before having showers to our next stop - will definitely recommend to everyone and eat/stay again. Thanks for a lovely stay x

Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. They settled any problems instantly without any fuss. This is a good budget hotel. Somewhere to sleep in a clean bed.

Lovely location, we visited from Dublin to attend a wedding at a different venue, we hired a car at Stansted airport getting to the hotel from the airport took about 30 mins, and the wedding venue about 10 minutes, rooms clean and fresh, amazing breakfast, and food in the onsite restaurant is delicious.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We felt at home right away. Antony was very helpful with everything and made our stay even easier. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here again in the future :)

    Rooms were a good size with very comfy beds; requested a bathroom with a bath which was fulfilled. Very friendly staff. Stock is a lovely area to visit! The rooms were very hot; that would be my only slight negative comment.
