Stourport itself was lovely, lots of little pubs along the canal and the town centre had various little shops and cafes. We were there for 1 night unfortunately, but we couldn't stayed for longer. Will definitely be visiting again, it's very chilled and we had a really lovely feel about it.

Small town on beautiful riverside. Lots of accommodation.

Small town on beautiful riverside. Lots of accommodation. Walks & sporting activities in the countryside. Large supermarkets, &, in the town centre, an interesting music shop with instruments & 2nd hand vinyl records, gift shops, charity shops, restaurants & takeaways. The Civic has regular events. Also pubs with live & recorded music - The Swan has loads of space & seats. Some of it is run down - empty shops, homeless sleep in doorways, the permanent fun fair fixtures looks cheap, old, irrelevant, & tired. Only 1 cashpoint in the very centre, another at the supermarket.

We only stayed one night for a family occasions.

We only stayed one night for a family occasions. However we have previously visited many times as we have family who live locally. As with many towns, it has become run down a bit over the years, but the basin with the narrow boats/locks and river front areas are very pleasant to see. We ate at the Codfather and found it very clean and food was cooked to order to really hot and tasted good.

Fascinating area with lots of history associated with the river and the canals. Plenty of pubs and restaurants and some great walks, esepcailly along the river and the disused railway line. Good base for exploring this part of the Midlands.

Dog friendly. The view of The Severn was great and the Inn was within easy walking distance of the town. The furniture and carpet in the room was of good quality and there were lots of power points. The heating worked well. The electric shower was good and there was a heated tower rail. The Inn has a traditional English bar. The price was lower than other hotels in the area.

All staff are amazing. Restaurant staff, cleaner, chef, barman, every single member of staff was so helpful and friendly. So welcoming throughout the whole stay. The food at breakfast and in the restaurant is amazing. So accommodating when we needed extra room. Thank you. I have stayed in many hotels but this has been one of the best. Would definitely stay again.

I liked it because if I was staying in a hotel I would have to get up in the morning for a certain time for breakfast but staying in this apartment I could eat when I felt like it and I found it very relaxing. I would definitely book an apartment again.

Location on the edge of the Stourport canal basin was awesome and the hosts had reserved a parking space for us. Clean and entertainingly slightly quirky room with view of the canal docks. Would stay here again.
