The property was clean, tidy and warm. It was really nice to see variety of drinks in the fridge, and fruits and biscuits were also available. The living room window overlooks the ducks and it was joy to watch them play in the water. It is evident that the host cares about their guests. I had interaction with three people and everyone was polite and nice, ensuring that i enjoyed my stay. If in the area i would highly recommend staying here.

So much in so small a town , Clarks Village well worth a...

So much in so small a town , Clarks Village well worth a visit or two. Excellent food at Tamburinos Italian , and at the other end of the scale also at The Lantokay , with cheap beer as well! Great streets to walk down with lots of interest and feeling quite safe after dark. Glastonbury is just up the road - another world of hippies, incense, organic food, colour and spectacle - very quirky!

I feel that the high street has been combined with the...

I feel that the high street has been combined with the Clarks village extremely well. I also thought the high street was very attractive with the flower arrangements and a good collection of shops. It seemed to be a thriving high street. We ate at the Bear Inn, which I would definitely recommend to other travellers, excellent food and extremely friendly staff.

Wonderful Hotel with 2 Osprey Charging points and the food...

Wonderful Hotel with 2 Osprey Charging points and the food was excellent. We stayed fir 3 nights and had two wnderfully cooked meals on 24th and 25th December 2024. Staff alsom excellent and very friendly and inviting good service akkl around the Hotel.

Perfect situation for local shopping and the excellent...

Perfect situation for local shopping and the excellent retail outlet, plenty of local places to eat. Situated centrally for visiting coastal and countryside locations. Easy access to the property. You can ditch the car and walk everywhere within the town, Clarke’s Village is four minutes walk away. The food court was open till 10pm and it was the best Prezzo we have been in over many years. The service and standards were exceptional.

Street has local shops and cafes, and Clarks Village which is perfect for an easy stroll round well-known branded outlets. Somerset is lovely throughout, so Street is a good spot to stay if you want to go to Wells, Somerton or many other historic and interesting towns and villages. The countryside is lovely too.

This commentary has nothing to do with accommodation. Both, in Street and in Glastonbury, the transport company should provide more frequent buses, knowing that it is a tourist place and much more so at this time of year.

Good location in the nice little town of Street. Free parking in an adjacent public car park which I appreciated as so many hotels think nothing of charging for parking. Nice gastro pub vibe. The accommodation is in a little set of cottages next door so no pub noise underneath. Fairly nice room and if it had been £20 cheaper I’d have said good value for money. Clean and comfortable and nothing to complain about room wise.

A quiet, clean and soothing place to stay. The host was very friendly and helpful. Although breakfast was not advertised as being included, a continental self-serve breakfast was available at no extra charge as well as the use of the kitchen. The Hygge was located in a quiet side-street with ample parking and free WiFi. All in all, we would definitely come again if we were in the area.

This was a little gem. Perfect location - not far from Glastonbury but located perfectly in Street for shopping and bar hopping. The building itself was really interesting, the staff were welcoming and friendly. The beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. A menu choice and plenty of options. Excellent value for money and we will be back.
