It was clean comfortable, friendly. Location was good but without a car at least 20 minutes from train station. There is a restaurant bar and cafe. Also the access to a near by gym with a swimming pool.

We stayed two nights in this very comfortable apartment. Robert, our host, was very responsive on WhatsApp and even picked us up from the train station! The apartment was very clean, the bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was nice. There was plenty of hot water for showers. The kitchen had everything we needed as well as a yummy bag of cookies waiting for us. We appreciated the microwave to heat up leftovers. We were able to leave our luggage on our last day until we left in the early afternoon. The location is great, just a short walk into the heart of Ely. This was really one of the best apartments we've ever had through booking.com. Highly recommended!

Fabulous location on the river and very close to the cathedral and centre facilities. Fabulous hosts. George greeted us at breakfast and kept us entertained with stories and information about our accomodation, and about Ely. Breakfast was served at a leisurely pace and prepared with much care and attention to detail. We could almost have stayed all morning eating. Our accomodation was warm, homely, quiet, and incredibly spacious.

Very cute cottage from 1896. Near the fen and very dog-friendly. Two bedrooms upstairs, toilets downstairs. No problem for us, but maybe interesting for some.

    It's great for a few days - 5 maybe - but Stretham is not...

    It's great for a few days - 5 maybe - but Stretham is not the main attraction, Ely and Cambridge are. Both are easily accessible by car as are other sights. I was surprised how interesting and attractive Ely was as a city - free parking, Oliver Cromwell's house, great walks by the river and parks, and that incredible cathedral. Oh, and Tom's Cake & coffee shop in Ely High Street....always full and for a very good reason....
