The pub is a little tired around the edges. It has lovely staff & breakfast was excellent, was ok for a 1 night stay to break up a long journey, was a little noisy at night but it was a hot evening and a Friday night in a pub, so expected. Our dogs were welcome, we had a fantastic dinner in the pub and the rooms were spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. I liked the staff a lot, they were friendly and able to help with any requests.
