This is a lovely little hotel, perhaps more a B&B, for visits to Dartmoor. Beautiful location with enormous garden. We felt really at home. Nice little bar with good wine, cozy living room with fireplace and rooms are top. We warmly recommend Weeke Barton.

Welcoming hosts, quite location, wonderful views over rolling hills. Smart modern ensuite shower room, comfy bed and little extras in room. Wide choice for freshly prepared breakfast. Excellent evening meal at pub/restaurant 10 mins drive. Loved the birdlife feeding in garden.

Beautiful thatched Inn. Splendid rooms, very comfortable and quite large. Extremely friendly hosts and staff. It’s a bit out the way but well worth the effort to get there.

Very good communication from the host. Simple key-safe check-in. We loved the welcome chocolates upon arrival and the quirky selection of complimentary drinks in the mini bar and were grateful for the milk. There were even ice cubes in the small freezer. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was decent with no shortage of hot water. We slept with the curtains open so that we could appreciate the lovely view and see the sunrise in front of us in the morning. Everything we needed was provided, and the coffee made in the machine was great. My daughter loved watching the fish from the terrace. We will return for another stay next time we are in the area.
