The former church convent turned into a 4 stars Hotel was perfect. The ground setting at the rear garden is so pretty. Rooms were large. Clean and comfortable. No fault. We booked for dinner and found the prices were fairly reasonable. Service was impeccable. Included Breakfast was very good indeed. Overall everything just nice.

The location is excellent for stopping over after visiting the Hall for Cornwall. We had the continental breakfast, at no extra cost. This comprised of a selection of teas, coffee, fruit (melon, prunes, various other fruits), toast, pastries, cereals and possibly more. The room was spacious, including a massive, comfortable bed. We made use of the fan as it was hot outside. A selection of tea and coffee in the room, but no complimentary biscuits. The shower was over the bath. Immaculately clean and tidy. All staff were really polite and friendly.

Great accommodating friendly staff., who said they’d keep the kitchen open if we were late as been working. We had a refurbished room, not big but ok for a couple, which was very nice with super comfy bed, nice decor and a good power shower. Breakfast was good too. Ample parking

I was so delighted to be able to host three guests with light meals and tea that I prepared in the kitchen for afternoon chat during my stay. The house was exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the stylish design gave me a luxury feeling. The public transport connection was very good between Truro and Redruth. They run a small grocery store downstairs, so you can cook healthy meals at home.

Love Love Love Treguth Glamping. We stayed in Drekly for 2 nights. Just adored it and the property as a whole. Kris and Kaana have certainly created a lovely little homestead here. With beautiful surroundings and gorgeous animals, this was not just accommodation, but an experience. The first day was raining, so we sat in the hut with toasties and cider and listened to the rain on the roof and kicked back and did some reading. The following day was sunny so we explored the area and the old tin mines. We were cosy at night and even though slightly chilly, no need for the fire. The shower facilities were great. The best outdoor shower I’ve ever used. Enough kitchen utensils to cook a meal and a great little fridge as well. To Kris, Kaana, George, Woody and Wilma and of course Chunk (and all the other wonderful animals) thank you all for a wonderful visit to Cornwall

    We visited The Cornish Seal Sanctuary in Gweek, also The lost Gardens of Heligan. Both very different but very good. It is very close to Truro so plenty of places to eat. There are all the usual types of take away places close by, plus a Mexican Restaurant, some in walking distance.
