The rooms were next, and separate, to the pub and sports bar. We had food from the bar menu, which was beautiful. A great, and well priced selection of drinks is way too tempting! The hotel is perfectly placed between Betws Y Coed and Llanwrst and not far from Conwy, nestled in wooded hills alongside a river. The staff are wonderfully friendly and chatty. We, as a family, couldn't have been happier all round. Highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.Guest review bySteUnited Kingdom - 8.0
A good base for walking in Snowdonia.
A good base for walking in Snowdonia. Trefriw is a quite village but there is a steady flow of cars through the village. The cafe was closed, the woollen mill was expensive. A good walk up to the lakes starts from the villageGuest review byIanUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lovely village in great location.
Lovely village in great location. Lots of beautiful countryside for walking and sightseeing. Village has 2 great pubs serving food and 2 brasseries. The butchers in the village has everything you need a for a stay and lots of fresh produce. The post office has a smaller selection but very friendly welcome in both. Woollen Mill is worth a visit and the Fairy Falls waterfall above and behind the Mill was fantastic when we visited.Guest review byStuartUnited Kingdom
