I had a lovely stay at the hotel and will definitely choose it again in the future. It has been beautifully renovated in the new annex part (see photos)/breakfast area and the main pub. The rooms are in the old building but still well-presented, clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast!

Welcoming host. Fabulous clean room with a view of the sheep grazing in the next-door field. Was quiet and calming. Bed was really comfortable with stunning Egyptian Cotton linen. Slept a full night for the first time in ages. Convenient location as shops and pubs just down the road. Breakfast was exceptional.

The apartment was beautiful, really had everything I needed for the stay. The TV had loads of channels and the fire and heating kept it really toasty. The hot tub was brilliant, really isolated and at a perfect temperature. The local village is about a 20 min walk away but be prepared, it is all downhill going but coming back ....!! The village has a lovely little vintage train line running most of the year and a handful of pubs, which I felt welcomed in.

    It is a beautiful, relaxing place with magnificent views,...

    It is a beautiful, relaxing place with magnificent views, well situated to visit so many places. Such as British ironworks, Llangollen aqueduct, Shrewsbury, Newtown, Welshpool. After a busy day it was enjoyable to relax in the barn but after a lovely meal in the Bull & Heffer.

    If you are looking to have a break away and also a very relaxing time then you should definitely consider booking their holiday cottage in Tregynon Mid Wales. Helen & Chris are great hosts! In between Newtown & Welshpool with lots of places to visit. The holiday cottage is on there working farm with lovely views of the fields from the kitchen window, There is a local shop and also a pub just a few miles for food and drinks Enjoy your stay. You won’t be disappointed! 🙂
