The location is excellent for stopping over after visiting the Hall for Cornwall. We had the continental breakfast, at no extra cost. This comprised of a selection of teas, coffee, fruit (melon, prunes, various other fruits), toast, pastries, cereals and possibly more. The room was spacious, including a massive, comfortable bed. We made use of the fan as it was hot outside. A selection of tea and coffee in the room, but no complimentary biscuits. The shower was over the bath. Immaculately clean and tidy. All staff were really polite and friendly.

Ben was a great host and very accommodating throughout our stay. The room was very comfortable and Ben prepared us a great breakfast each morning. The location was ideal for us as we had a wedding in Pengelly Barn which was a 2 min walk from the B&B. Would highly recommend staying here

What a nice appartment with an amazing view on the harbour and boats. Good bed, shower bath kitchen. Perfect for a stay for 2 for a week or couple of days. Fast internet. Parking is not a problem outside the busy hours of the (almost) neighbouring pub Heron Inn. We have eaten there two days of our three day stay.

Wow! What an incredible place to stay for the week! We cannot recommend this beautiful place enough! The people who own these pods have clearly spent a lot of time and energy into making these pods very special and thoughtful. We loved the hot tubs with the view and a sunset and how the view from the bed overlooks the hills.

I love everything about this cabin. The facilities specially the hot tub, utensils, space, location very well equipped. We feel at home it was peaceful and the view was perfect! We enjoyed the countryside setting and the extensive garden area with bbq utensils and a big wooden table. We watched the sunsets and sunrise from our windows. The narrow roads around the property is perfect for cycling, with many public walks paths and beautiful beaches nearby. There was a complimentary champagne, milk, jug of water and some biscuits which we really appreciate. The cabin is well built and the woodworks inside is amazing. We enjoy our stay very much! Will definitely go back here next time.

Apart from the cathedral there was not much else .

Apart from the cathedral there was not much else . We had based ourselves in Truro to visit Tresillik National Trust which in spite of being in great location was rather dissappointing having visited Lanhydrock earlier in the day which was superb. The house in Tressilick was very limited and appeared to be mainly used in lieu of the more usual excellent NT restaurant.

The Rising Sun pub excellent food , pretty pub great staff and tucked away location. The Tugboat coffee shop . But really u less you have to go don’t bother . It’s full of hairdressers and Turkish Batbers and all rather sad

We like Truro and been there a few times, good shopping centres with good amenities, as with any town there are always the town idiots which can let the place down, apart from that will be staying again .its also good for access to seaside places.

There is not huge amount to do or see in Truro.

There is not huge amount to do or see in Truro. We came for the Cathedral, where the services and music are beautiful. Anyone not used to Seagulls in the (very) early morning should bring earplugs. Seagulls make noises like no other bird, and keep making them.

Truro is a good centre for travelling to all destinations in Cornwall. Bus services are good during the day, infrequent after about 6pm but we found them to run exactly as per the timetable. Good views from upstairs. Trains are usually punctual from Penzance but variable from London. Thus, if you are using public transport, this is an excellent central point. Truro is vibrant by day and very quiet in the evenings. Good public toilets and Wetherspoons (of course).

Truro is a lovely place to shop.

Truro is a lovely place to shop. You must visit the Cathedral (include a guided tour) and the Hall for Cornwall. Excellent transport facilities for non drivers in coach/bus service and train services.

The cottage was pretty and homely, lovely views at the back for breakfast in the mornings, very comfortable and plenty of space for us, location excellent can get to beaches easily, also can get to places like Truro and Falmouth easily via a car, plenty of places to see and explore, need quite a few visits to Cornwall as there is so much to enjoy, would definitely go back there again.

This pub accommodation was as good as a mid-range hotel. The rooms were really spacious, modern, well-designed and maintained. I certainly wasn't expecting a Nespresso coffee machine either. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free, doorstep parking (with EV charging) and close proximity to Truro city centre completed the benefits of my stay.

Everything! From the initial greeting to the check out farewell, the staff were truly exceptional. The location is brilliant for the centre of Truro, including the Hall for Cornwall. The room was well equipped and plenty big enough. We both slept really well, as there was very little outside noise and the bed was so comfy.

Excellent location, very peaceful but close to Truro city and Falmouth. Very welcoming hosts and the tent was very comfortable and warm even during wet weather. Private bathroom had a powerful shower. Better staying here than most hotels in Cornwall and cheaper
