Very good location ! Everything is to be liked, very friendly front desk agents. Nice, welcoming, polite. The place is clean the bedrooms are clean and the bedding is very nice. good breakfast For my next trip to woking this is where I will stay again !

The friendliness of the staff and I like to say thank you to Sunita, Ruth and Joyce and also the office manager when we arrived, he helped my husband bring up the luggage and he kept the flowers for my daughter in a vase in his office until show time. I am already booking my next stay for beginnning of August. My son's room was also upgraded, that was a nice touch.

Second time at Holiday Inn Guildford. I was here in August 2021 with my family, and here again this year with my 3 boys. Our 2 week stay has been superb. The breakfast especially was rich and varied with well prepared options. The restaurant staff were just solid gold. Always smiling and pleasant. Clearly eager to help and in such friendly and welcoming ways. They were especially good with my kids. And I observed how unfailingly courteous they were to guests. The whole team - Gemma, Iwona, Ling, Anna and John - were such terrific hosts. I am so glad my kids and I got to know them over our 2 week stay. The recent face lift to the lobby and restaurant also gives the place real warmth and style. Edit. Just realised that my previous review (in August 2021) had suggested towels on the bathroom floor. Here we are in January 2023, floor towels are provided in the bathroom and changed every single day. Impressive.

    It's a very chocolate box pretty part of Surrey.

    It's a very chocolate box pretty part of Surrey. Lots of quaint houses, quintessentially british pubs and cafes. Gin producers and walks galore! Good to be one to London and other attractions, but rural enough to feel away from the bustle.
