We love The Lion, have been there for lunch, dinner and drinks several times. The room we stayed in was a great size, plenty of room. But we were disappointed with the decor - the room we stayed in is nowhere to be seen on Booking.com or the website, hence the disappointment. Lovely, place, lovely people, lovely food. We arrived much later than we’d arranged but were still warmly welcomed by the team. Our room was spacious and super comfy and dinner was superb. We had our two lurchers with us and theyvwere given just as warm a welcome as we were. We were only staying at The Lion for a night but would happily have stayed longer. Breakfast was simply top notch and there are plenty of footpaths nearby to walk the dawgs. Can’t recommend The Lion highly enough. We’ll be back. :)Guest review byIngrid WUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Pub is lovely with a homely ambience and good outside seating areas. Lots of free parking. Room was as expected. Clean with added extras.
