The house has under floor heating, so lovely and warm for January and the views are amazing, you can walk from the house, but you can also drive to other walks. A lovely getaway, to unwind, walk and then relax in the hot tub. Located in the centre of Weardale this is a gem of a property and a stay we will remember for a long time. The proprietors are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The property has all the amenities and the food if dining in is delicious. Very, very comfy beds, and we were very well looked after by the hosts Kathryn and Stewart. The food was outstanding, and I loved my alternative choice of breakfast.
