Absolutely lovely and cozy pods, with a wonderful view overlooking the nearby fields - amazing at sunset. Extremely comfortable bed and peaceful location, great pricing, could not recommend this enough! Not a sound out at night, just nature - really lovely and welcoming guests too!! They gave us their chicken’s eggs and there was fresh milk in the fridge, and loved the selection of table games! Absolutely recommend this!

Sophie and Stuart were exceptional hosts. We had the soup on arrival which was delicious. Breakfast was great as well. Would recommend the Lodge to anyone.

Warm and cosy property with a lovely spacious kitchen. Pet friendly with a large enclosed garden and great dog walks nearby. Located next to some of the most beautiful scenery and beaches in the UK. Great communication from host and the welcome dram was such a lovely touch. I’d definitely book again!

What an absolute gem! Highly recommend staying in this delightful boutique hotel with all you can need. This included shampoo, conditioner, liquid and cake soap, bubble bath, eye masks, shower caps, vanity packs, and delicious biscuits. There was also a sensational restaurant that was well worth dining in for. The upstairs room, with ensuite, overlooked the garden with bird feeder and was very quiet. Parking was on site with plenty of space. The hotel is set in some lovely gardens overlooking the ocean loch. The staff were amazing.

Very nice and elegant hotel, on the bank of the loch. We recommand the restaurant, which serves original scottish inspired meals. Bars are really cool. We saw seals while having our dinner! Room was comfortable even if the private bathroom was apart.

The rooms were modern and fresh with great views and dog friendly. The owners run nearly all of it themselves and are hard working, and I can't rate them highly enough. Breakfast was fabulous, and evening meals were equally as good. We ate well and at a reasonable price.

We loved the remote location! It was so quiet in April and the only other people we saw were the Handa Island ferry boat operators. The pod was so comfortable and cozy and Karla added so many unique touches to make us feel welcome and at home!

    We stayed 3 nights, which was just right as we needed a rest...

    We stayed 3 nights, which was just right as we needed a rest (we are elderly and one of us is disabled, on 4 month trip from Tasmania, Australia) It was very comfortable and warm, which was just what we needed. The lack of internet, TV and microwave would have bothered us, if we had stayed any longer. Carey was marvellous - welcoming, obliging and could not have been any better really. She even phoned a local restaurant to book us a meal on our first night after we arrived at 4pm. Whale Inlet is wild and remote, as was the weather when we stayed. We did not go to Handa Island (famous for the amazing feathered wildlife) which is nearby - ferries go every day except sunday. If we ever did a trip like this again, we would come back, just for the comfort and warmth!
