The lady in the front desk was so nice, warm and friendly. I think her name was Esther, she welcomed us so warmly when we stumbled tired and worn into the hotel a late evning. She made sure we had everything we needed and her warm attitude made us feel so safe and welcomed after a long week driving through Europe. Her professional and nice catering towards us made the first impression so good that we paid for an extra night

The staff are excellent. Particular mention for Sandy serving breakfast who is always good natured and helpful. The reception manager was also excellent in dealing with a noise problem from a guest. Room comfortable, breakfast excellent and plentiful. Plenty of parking and good location for our trip.

    Didnt get to see much of the area as was there to watch...

    Didnt get to see much of the area as was there to watch Tranmere vs Colchester game with family. Took a little walk down to Tesco express for bits and drove to the local aldi and everyone seemed lovely and friendly to us northerners.
