We love Winterton-on-Sea, this was our second trip.

We love Winterton-on-Sea, this was our second trip. The beaches are gorgeous and wild. The wildlife is amazing. It's a quiet and pretty little village and lovely to walk around. The beach is quite difficult to access with mobility issues, I use a rollator and getting over the dunes and through deep sand is challenging, once on the beach it's wonderful to walk/roll along. The access could be greatly improved for disabled visitors and we hope that this may see improvements in the near future for our next visit.

Winterton on Sea is a small village with a lovely tea room (Poppy's) which is in the post office. Waxham Barn is definitely worth a visit for brunch, lunch or a sweet treat - they have the biggest Danish Pastries I've ever seen! A visit to Horsey Gap Beach is a must where from around October - January you can see the seals which come up on the beach to have their pups.

I loved the dog friendly nature of the village.

I loved the dog friendly nature of the village. To be honest we were disappointed with Poppy's, the service was great but the food ordinary. The fish and chips from the fish and chip shop were amazing. The property is lovely and clean, secure and airy. Very nicely maintained.

Lovely village and beach. Good amenities everywhere is dog friendly. The fishermen’s return does a lovely pint and good food reasonably prices. The tea rooms is lovely and very reasonable. Would happily live here. Easy driving distance of large super market and shops easy to reach attractions around the area.
