Lovely large room with everything we needed in it. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Ate in the restaurant for 2 nights and the food was really nice. All the staff were so friendly.

Nothing to dislike. Breakfast was amazing and staff accomodating any request. Bar staff were friendly and attentive. Room had been renovated and was beautifully done. Grounds were beautiful and we were there for a wedding. Had a 90 minute stone massage by Kieran which I would highly recommend.

Location ideal for getting around on foot. The fact that the building was several hundred years old made my day. Not a straight or level floor etc anywhere. Food was very good. Excellent breakfast. Great staff. Very nice hostess. (Kiwi)

Great location with parking on site. I really liked the set up with the accommodation in the grounds of the pub. We are on site and yeh food was very good, staff very friendly. Room was very comfortable for us would definitely come again

    Loved Woodbridge. So friendly and quiet.

    Loved Woodbridge. So friendly and quiet. Very interesting history re the museum, the long ship and the Tide Mill. Loved walking along the River Deben, spotting the two sisters. Sutton Hoo is a must. Great eating places, Marlowe’s, The Anchor - very good meals. Loved the church and the architecture and history of the whole area, houses and fantastic shops too. Very accessible for Southwold, Orford, Aldeburgh, Saxmundham etc al.

    Woodbridge is a lovely un-spoilt town with several good pubs and restaurants. The Deben riverside with the Tide-Mill and restaurants is very pleasant and the Anglo-Saxon boat project in the Longshed a must.

    A beautiful town with some interesting old buildings. There were plenty of places in which to eat and drink. Pub prices were a bit expensive, though. The Whistlestop cafe near the station is good value for money. Woodbridge is close to Sutton Hoo, which is a fascinating place to visit.

    We used Woodbridge as the center point to visit Framlingham...

    We used Woodbridge as the center point to visit Framlingham and Great Glennham and Sutton Heath and the coast. if we had stayed a little longer we could have spent more time in each place and have had time to see everything in Woodbridge. We did not get to the Tide Mill and could have spent more time just walking around town to see all there was to see. And with more time we could have walked to Sutton Hoo instead of getting a ride. Also could have gone to Saxmundham.

    An attractive town, convenient for visiting Sutton Hoo and its Anglo-Saxon treasures (a short taxi ride from Woodbridge Station), as well as the wider area. A good rail service from Ipswich and the mainline. The town itself is historic but also has some good shops such as Sea Salt and Fat Face, comfortable cafes and pubs.

    Rather unique market town with a long history to explore. Good shops/cafes in the adjacent market square. Surprisingly easy to get around despite one way system. Waterside very attractive. Tide MIll very interesting.

    The house was exactly what was shown in the pictures. It was easy to find and enter via a secure key box which the host provides the code for. The place was clean, beds were really comfortable and the outside patio was a perfect place to read, especially in the hot weather. Alix was a kind host who greeted us as we arrived and provided fresh milk in the fridge and shower gel, which was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend staying in number 19 as it's the perfect place to rest after exploring what beautiful Suffolk has to offer.

    The Hotel is very old and quirky. Hospitable. Parking has to be reserved in advance as well as dinner . I did this and all went well. It was as I expected and the restaurant had alcohol free beer which I like. Coffee and local made biscuits in the room. Plenty of towels. Comfortable bed. Free password free WiFi Situation in the centre of historic Woodbridge.

    Really lovely little cottage in Woodbridge. So nice to have a washing machine in a small cottage as I won’t go anywhere without one. Lovely little treats left, chocolates on bed a nice touch. Pint of milk great so i could have a cup of tea. Dog friendly and a fab little garden
