Everything. The location, the loft. The property is very stylish and nicely designed. There are a lot of details that make the environment feel like a home not just an accommodation. It is exceptionally clean and from the home fragrance to the hand wash everything smells nice and gives a luxurious touch. There was welcome beer and champagne in the fridge, even though I only had one beer, it is a nice touch. There were cookies and chips which I discovered later. Small things, but matter. The host was very kind, she welcomed us the next morning.

Beautiful rooms. High quality and great attention to detail. Restaurant and pub were excellent as were the staff and management, they couldn’t do enough. Breakfast fantastic. When I’m next in the area I won’t be searching!! Straight to the Rose and Crown.

Everything about this place is just amazing. I come here regularly, and for what you pay for the room—including access to the spa—it’s incredible value. The staff are super professional (you won’t find service like this anywhere else in Plymouth), and the rooms are always spotless and high-quality. Amazing hotel. Rooms are big enough, clean, bathroom exceptional with shower and bath. Provided with all necessary for a comfortable stance, kettle, coffee, tea, milk, warm and cosy. Bed was bigger that I've ever seen. Swimming pool, hot tube, sauna, steam bath, was perfect. Changing rooms clean and with lockers to lock all your staff. Water temperature was perfect, and swimming pool was clean. Food is amazing, and breakfast was wonderful. Definetly a place I would recommend to everyone that is on that area. Staff very friendly, approachable, and welcoming. Loved this hotel.

I had to stay for 2 wks with my dog while my husband was in hospital. It was the lovely friendly Staff that made my stay. They were not only friendly to me and my dog but also asked after my husband. Every evening I would sit in the cosy sitting area with sofas and my dog was welcome as well as in the bar/restaurant area. The room is not large but very comfortable and the bed was comfy as well. I stayed in January but the room was always warm enough. I ate in the Hotel every evening and the food is very good., maybe not the sort of food for a diet, but hearty comfort food and a delicious sticky toffee pudding! The rooms are in a separate building right next to Reception and Bar/Restaurant but I found that much easier with the dog as I could take her straight from the car parked in front of the room. I would definitely stay again.
