Dimitsana is a typical beautiful mountain village with very narrow, steep cobblestone streets. Very picturesque! We loved the experience. I feel like one doesn’t have a full picture of Greece without a visit to a hill town like Dimitsana. Lovely, lively, intriguing. Drive respectfully or not at all. We appreciated the helpfulness of our host. He directed us to a hike that we wanted to make and helped facilitate transportation so we could be dropped off at one end and hike back to the village. We enjoyed a traditional breakfast both of the mornings we stayed at the guesthouse. This means a bit of walking downhill but the reward is uninterrupted views from the balconies. Ramona was extremely nice and helpful. My wife and I had to leave the kids in the lobby while we went to bring all the luggage, and meanwhile Ramona made hot chocolate for the kids (!) and watched National Geographic Kids with them!
