Huge and very calm appartment on the second floor of a private house, encircled by a balcony / terrace, with all the needed amenities (good shower, excellent beds...) The place itself is at a walkable distance (15 minutes) of Sami's harbour by a pedestrial pathway running along the beach. The landlady is easily reachable (her parents lives on the 1st floor) and always eager to help. Fantastic views from the terrace. Highly recommended.

The location - in the centre of the town with many restaurants, supermarket, nice shops nearby and close to entrance of various hiking trails. The room is spotlessly clean and well-furnished. The host is very friendly and helpful - she helped arrange and facilitate our transportation and our luggage logistic. We enjoyed sitting in the balcony and watched and hustle and bustle of the town. We recommend this place and this host and look forward to coming back.

    The area we stayed in was very quiet.

    The area we stayed in was very quiet. There was a beautiful restaurant on the sea front and a bakery nearby but that's it. Sami has lots of bars, shops and restaurants and is a twenty minute walk along the scenic sea front. I think to take advantage of the island you need to hire a car.

    Strategic location in the middle of the island - everything...

    Strategic location in the middle of the island - everything is close. Quiet and clean village with a good bakery close to the hotel (with breakfasts and a good coffee). And mainly - Antisamos Beach is just 15 minutes drive from Karavomylos. It's for sure the best beach in Kefalonia, don't look for any other. Sun beds for free, restaurant with a great food and a perfect coffee (+ very friendly staff), white pebbles beach and a lot of places for parking.

    Karavomylos is a beautiful location by the sea.

    Karavomylos is a beautiful location by the sea. The thoroughfare has shops and all amenities you would need. The area by the water is just stunning and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Our favourite place to eat is at the Karavomylos Taverna, where Georgios and his staff make you feel very welcome. The food in incredible! Karavomylos is a wonderful location to stay with its proximity to many attractions.

    Our stay was fantastic! The location is great, it's in close proximity to Mellisani Lake and it takes 25-30 minutes on foot to get to Sami. There are lots of cafes nearby. The room overlooks the sea and the mountains. We enjoyed the hospitality and high quality cleanliness. The room was cleaned every day. If we get back to Kefalonia, we will definitely stay here.

    The house has a classic look and feel and some lovely ornamental balconies. It is close to some restaurants, a small shop and cafe. This was our preferred place to a small hotel room in Sami port (after the boat from Lefkada). Fresh cotton bed linen.

    The studio is well-equippment and modern. The hostes are helpful. Althoght everthing is provided for cooking it's worth trying on the breakfast canteen and the tavern close to the studio in the center place of Karavomylos.
