The room was modern equipped and new, it is really close to the elafornissi beach where we went by foot, we had free parking, in front there is a supermarket with everything you need, the owner was around all the time - ready to help with -anything. If we would go to Elafonissi I would book this room again.

Nice brand new apartment with everything needed inside. All was very good: bed, wi-fi, bathroom, kitchenette, furniture in general, washing machine, etc.. It was pleasant to find welcoming tasty pastries and cake.

The size of the apartment is a bit bigger I assume. No problems at all that this apartment is on the ground floor. Silent area. 2 air-conditionions and well equipped kitchen. Easy to park just near the apartment. Cleaning of the apartment every 3rd or 2nd day, I'm not sure I remember. Everything is new. A lot of towels. Very good value for money when you have everyting although it is located not on the first line from the beach. Still I think it is about 7 min to walk to clean and long beach. Welcoming pastry was amazing, and we went for more to their bakery.

Amazing location a few hundred meters from the most beautiful Greek beach. From here you can also drive to the beautiful and quiet Kedrodassos beach. Very friendly and helpful property owner. Bonus points for the dark sky at night with the Milky Way clearly visible.

    The host is lovely.

    The host is lovely. She speaks a little English but her warmth and hospitality bridge the gap. Accommodation is spotlessly clean and spacious. Beds comfortable. Recommend for those happy to stay a short drive from Paleochora wanting peace and quiet. This is a large growing area so you will be in and around grow sheds. Still This is a wonderful authentic place.

    Kountoura Selino is more of an area towards the end of a...

    Kountoura Selino is more of an area towards the end of a seaside road at the Southwest part of the Crete islands. Driving out from the town of Palaochora, one finds along the seaside road a supermarket, camping ground, housings, some tavernas, beaches and beach bars along the road. Of the beaches, our favourite was Grameno beach, as it provided a facility with umbrellas at the wonderful sandy part, as well as a more beautiful wild naturist part settled among the dune and rocks. We saw wonderful sunsets there. A car is needed to get around the area. We were there in the first week of September, and it was rather quiet with few tourists, which we enjoyed.
