Alexandra's place is one of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in. The buildings are new, the rooms are spacious, and the interior design is very modern. All amenities are more than you could ask for. Big fridge, full size cooker/oven, washing machine, coffee machine, etc. The sea is very close and you can access it by foot. Nevertheless, the greatest thing about the place is the friendliness of the owners. I highly recommend this place and I am looking forward to visiting it again.

Everything was perfect. Nice, beautiful bedroom and with a lot of space, the triple one. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Big bathroom. The breakfast was amazing. A lot of choices for every person, vegan or not! Staff really kind. The photos are not very representative. The reality ia better! I fully recoment this hotel. Also, it is next to the KTEL buses.

    Kryoneri is a very quiet place, green and still with all its nature. With a mountain that gives it a unique peculiarity and creates a special micro-climate. From the mountains, groundwater flourishes giving way to that cold turquoise watershed that gives its name to the entire region. The beach that extends from the Varasova rock has a variety between small stones and coarse sand to the Evinos river. The water is crystal clear and clean. Between the rock and the river, the entire region is cultivated between dirt roads and some paved roads that can be traveled by bicycle as well as for daily running. Kryoneri had in his time one of the first train lines in all of Greece and one can still see up to Messolonghi the railway line that connected all the towns to each other. Here are several traditional taverns with fresh ingredients (vegetables, fish, seafood and meat). The local people have the habit of fishing in the morning and afternoon, the region has a reputation for abundance of fish, perhaps due to the swamps and the river. I recommend the "Captain del Mare" tavern with excellent service and delicious meals. To spend the day and under the shade with a unique service the "Nostos beach bar" various types of coffees, drinks and dishes of the day. It is worth mentioning that the region is suitable for windsurfing, kitesurfing, rock climbing, kayaking and of course sunbathing!
