We really enjoyed our stay.....especially my son and my husband, they enjoyed the pool so much and they had more fun than me........I would also like to commend the middle-aged man amongst the staff, because he was always cleaning the pools and always cheerful and seem kind. And also the blonde cleaning lady(she's the best). They gave my son a play ball for the beach and helped us with our taxi back to the airport. Quiet and serene location with a lovely beach just 2minutes walk from the hotel. We'll be coming back for sure.

Opalia Suites was exceptional, perfect location. Sandro and his wife made us feel very welcome and they kept our accommodation spotlessly clean. The accommodation itself was large and we really enjoyed our hotub. Would highly recommend.

I travel a lot but I rarely post my reviews here. This time I feel obliged to leave my comment. The hotel is just after renovation, it's clean and cosy. It has its own beach with free umbrellas which is a huge advantage. The swimming pool is also nice and modern. The most important asset of the hotel is the staff - all the people were sooo nice and helpful. It's a real gem at Perissa. Best wishes from Radek & Pati.

    Having stayed two weeks in Perissa, I dare say I know it a bit. It's a great mix of not too big of a town, plenty of groceries shopping spots, Restaurants with some great offers, nice beaches (even though one has to get used to black sand) and cultural spots like a very nice Orthodox Church and some historic ruins if you dare to hike a bit. It's wasn't too crowded either, so if you consider going, do so Early - Mid September.

    Visiting Perissa in September was perfect – warm weather and plenty of sunbeds, or you can simply relax on the soft sand mixed with small pebbles. A short walk down the beach takes you to Perivolos, which is even better for swimming. Along the beach, you’ll find plenty of excellent restaurants and bars – Tranquilo and Ntomatini are must-visits! In the evenings, it’s lovely to stroll past the many little souvenir shops and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

    Perissa is a great place to stay for holiday and workcation. There are multiple location to eat food and to stay and to be honest, the prices are probably the best on Santorini! I enjoyed my time here and would return anytime.

    It’s an expensive town.

    It’s an expensive town. Beach is difficult - all bars and restaurants offer ‘free sunloungers’ to customers but then you must spend at least €20pp in the restaurant- and are persistent on reminding you to spend the money. There is VERY difficult sea access all along the beach - slippery flat rock for quite a while - so getting in and out of the sea was somewhat challenging. And large waves. And it was boiling hot - not great. I wouldn’t consider returning ever!

    A lovely town in Santorini slightly less known than the more popular destinations of Oia and Fira. It loses nothing by way of charm forever, and possesses both its own beach and town area for relaxing and eating alike. If you're looking for a slightly quieter stay without any loss of experience then I would highly recommend Perissa (plus, it's so easy to get to the other parts of the island via the two-euro bus).

    Not a huge amount to do in Perissa while we were there as it...

    Not a huge amount to do in Perissa while we were there as it was a bit too windy to spend long at the pool or beach. Food was ok and quite expensive. A couple of days is enough to see what’s there and do a boat trip which is the best way to see the island and I would highly recommend. Shop around for value though.

    The reception staff (Cosco in particular) were very helpful and kind. Cosco gave us honest feedback and clear directions on how to plan our own tour to the volcano (to take the express bus at the most convenient time, etc.). The night receptionist also was very helpful with our early checkout and booking the shuttle for us. Our room directly overlooked the pool and had some beautiful flowers right outside. We would definitely recommend staying here for a value for money stay in Santorini and quick access to the beach Perissa.

    The staff was super nice. The sea is 5 mins walk. I think that perissa has the best beaches in santorini. The studio had all cutlery and pan to cook. I didn't need to go anywhere to rent the scooter or book the tour. The manager of the Villa had done everything for me. Amazing stay. I will come back again.
