A quiet place ideal for relaxing vacation.
A quiet place ideal for relaxing vacation. The village has few really nice taverns and the people are friendly. The village has no big landmarks or an amazing beach, but nearby there are many other small places to visit and many wonderful swimming areas like Stomio beach. The village is perfectly located if you want to explore the Kymi coastline but also not too far from the scenic mountains to the north. Within 30-40 minutes driving you can visit some spectacular beaches or walk in the forest at 700-800 meters elevation. We visited several beaches and we did some hiking and all places definitely exceeded my expectations. Depending on the accommodation the view from the village towards the sea is wonderful. Stomio, Soutsini (good beach for small kids), Kalamos are excellent choices to swim around Platana.Guest review byDimitriosSweden
