This hotel is so great. We had very big and nice room. Hotel is placed at beautiful beach and also has great pool. Food was very tasteful, especially dinner. Whatever we ate it was good. Stuff was also very friendly and helpful!

This hotel has everything you need for perfect and relaxed vacation. We got upgrade to executive room with beautiful view and it really enhanced our stay - next time we would definitely book that room type. Pools are amazing, food is good, staff is very kind and polite, we felt very welcomed. If you have small children, there are two great playgrounds in this resort, our little girl really enjoyed. Hotel also has nice, mostly sandy beach, so you actually don't have to even leave the resort during your stay if you don't want to.

These apartments are a true haven of happiness on the beautiful homeland of Hippocrates. The house is surrounded by blooming roses and shrubs, with the scent of mint and the salty breeze from the nearby lake filling the air. Here, time seems to slow down. Inside, absolutely everything you need and more is thoughtfully prepared. Spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and amazingly – not a single mosquito or fly! The layout of the apartments offers complete privacy – during two weeks we never saw or heard neighbors, even though the place was fully booked. If you are lucky enough to book this home, fortune has truly smiled upon you. Our holiday was one of the best of our lives. On this small island, everything is magical: crystal-clear sea, a stunning salt lake, a unique thermal spring at the foot of a volcano where you can meet friendly mountain goats and feed them fresh basil. We visited the ancient Asklepion – the sacred site of the first doctors, wandered through the mountain village of Zia, enjoying breathtaking sunsets and the scent of pine trees, stood under the legendary Tree of Hippocrates, and had so much fun at the nearby waterpark. But above all, we are grateful for the incredible kindness and care of our host, Yannis. He made us feel not just guests, but truly part of this wonderful place. His warmth and attention surrounded us throughout our stay, giving us a sense of safety and happiness. Yannis is the soul of this home. We leave with deep gratitude, a piece of our hearts left in Tigaki, and a dream to return to this paradise on the homeland of Hippocrates, where the sea, mountains, and people truly heal the soul.”

Golden Sun is a 2 star residence on the back of salt lake. It is a basic residence but it offers much more i imagined, it is clean and tidy. We stayed for 2 weeks on 2nd floor, amazing view at Sun set. Good matress and pillow, nice small swimming pool. The rooms were confortable, spacious and tidy. Staff and the owners are really kind. It is located 5 min by walk from the shops and pubs but it is in a real quite corner in the country side. The ratio cost /conforts is superb. Golden Sun is a must for who likes basic place but with kindness, tidy and clean places, silence. The food at the pool was good. It is a good idea for family with Kids, for couple, for retired people.

    There are plenty of excellent value for money restaurants whether the preference is for greek cuisine - pizza - grilled food you will have a great choice. There are plenty of bars some quieter than others. Most of the bars /restaurants are located on the main street. The beach is clean and very safe shallow water

    Large supermarket opposite utopia fab staff, prices and stock. Recommend bars on the beach very nice. Main street typical of Greece, restaurants, bars and a few tourist shops. Can be busy with traffic.

    I have been coming here for ten years now, it has changed...

    I have been coming here for ten years now, it has changed from a one street village which it still has. Now so many hotels have been built that are all inclusive that people miss out on the beautiful restaurants and bars that make Tigaki special.

    A nice small resort with lots of bars and restaurants located mainly along one main street. Easy access to Kos town by local bus. Choice of beaches. We ate at various restaurants and did not have a single bad meal all week!

    Tigaki is easy to access by public buses.

    Tigaki is easy to access by public buses. If you are visiting with a tour, you will be picked up and dropped off to your hotel. There are variety of choices for beaches and dinner. However, there was not enough traditional things to discover. You may think hiring a car or joining a tour for discovering other parts of the island. Tigaki is located at north and depending on the weather, you may face with waves rather than a smooth sea. In this case, you may choose to swim at the south.

    Food was great. Ice cream in snack bar was excellent. Wonderful receptionist staff. We also appreciated the free bottles of water in the room. Awesome to be able to walk straight from beach into pool area. Aircon worked great in our room. Loved the neighbouring restaurant (called 'the vineyard' in Greek) which is worth the walk. Expect 40 euros to airport (we used the private hire recommended by the hotel, which was great), 18-20 euros to Kos port.

    Lovely family run hotel, beautiful views, great pool, exceptional value for money, excellent food, the best olives I've ever tasted grown at the hotel, greek breakfast is superb. Chrysoula who dealt with check in and runs the bar / food area was great, so friendly and helpful. All in all a great holiday and will definitely return.

    We absolutely loved this stay, this is definitely the best place to stay in Kos!!! Unreal food, staff are amazing and so on it with the drinks! Lots of pools, 2 restaurants for free when staying for a week. Can’t wait to be back!!

    Hotel is in a perfect position being just minutes from the beach, restaurants and public transport into Kos Town. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the food looked freshly prepared.
