Stayed in villa Olive from 21/06/2024 to 05/07/2024, it has a big terrace with views of the mountains and the lovely pool. Vamos in the western part of Crete feels more authentic than the eastern part were we stayed previously. There are many restaurant's within a short stroll from the villa serving authentic Cretan food. Also beaches are very easy assessable within a 15 to 20 minute drive. The location is perfect, the view is amazing. The room is spacious and very clean. The staff was very service oriented, and breakfast was delicious. The massage we booked was absolutely perfect, I would highly recommend it. And no need to bring your beach towel, you will get them from the hotel.

Amazing views and a really nice pool also there’s a restaurant owned by them right across the road that has everything you need. Has spacious rooms and bathrooms and is also 15 minutes away from one of the most beautiful and famous lakes in Europe its absolutely stunning would highly recommend also really good price

We liked the apartment with direct access to the pool. The water was warm and very very clean. We also liked the apartment itself, the beds are confortable, the bathroom is spacious. We liked the options we had for breakfast (not included, 15 eur per person - order whatever and how much you want front their menu). We always found a parking spot even though the hotel was full. The hotel is in a quiet area, with a small supermarket and tavernas near by. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes on foot away from the beach. However since we rented a car we explored a lot so we didn't care that the hotel is not closer to the beach.

Nektarios is a fantastic host, he makes sure you feel welcome. I was welcomed with home-made lemonade and delicious fresh fruits and I received lots of help and support from him during my unfortunately very short stay. The room was very nice, spacious and the balcony had lovely seaview.

    Lovely village with everything you may need to have a great holiday. Bakery,chemist ,local shops ,few tavernas and of course kafenion where locals meet.Very nice people ,authentic Greek village.Quite and relaxing.Parasia the best taverna in the area.Must be book in advance always full,very good food and very friendly staff.Lots of nice walk around the village.

    The village of Vamos, just a bit isolated from the main route, provides perfect place for a relaxed getaway. Being quiet place, at the same time provides for all your needs - with it's local shop, great bakery, petrol station and at least 4 nice places to eat, with Τα Πλατάνια barbecue being our favourite, serving very simple and limited choice, yet delicious local food. Despite some ilolation, there's still just few kilometers to the main national road, making Vamos excellent starting point for local trips, like Samaria or Imbros gorges, lovely beaches nearby, Chania or Rethimno

    The house was extremely clean and felt very safe having a front gate and also shuttered back door. It was centrally located within Vamos and easy to find the mini markets as well as restaurants, we felt like everything we needed was close by. We loved our cat visitors every day as huge cat people we loved having their company on the patio. Manolis is a great host and regularly checked in to see whether there was anything extra we needed.

    The apartment (more like a little house) is set in a beautiful century-old grove of fruit trees. It’s very private with a stunning pool area that is even better than the pictures. Our accommodation was very spacious with a lovely terrace that looked out over the surrounding mountains and olive groves. Vamos is a very well-maintained and picturesque village with the nearest beach around 12 minutes drive away. Quiet and beautiful.

Eleni, Leonidas and Stavros are superb hosts! It's a family business--they live there and take great pride in their lodging and make hospitality a priority.
