You can't go wrong here. Nadia and her team are excellent hosts, the location is absolutely stunning, we couldn't get enough of the views and loved returning from our trips every evening. At first, we weren't planning on using the restaurant so much, but the cooking made us - homemade in the best way possible and I'm pretty sure I tasted actual authentic Greek cuisine. Also loved the cats.

Our stay at this charming and cozy bed and breakfast could not have been more pleasant. The host was warm, welcoming and charismatic. We felt right at home, and immediately wished our visit was longer. The view over the valley took our breath away, and this quiet and secluded village is full of friendly characters. The rooms are comfortable and we slept deeply. This is a must-return destination, and became a cornerstone of our Greek adventure.

I recently stayed at Forrest Guesthouse in Polydroso and had a wonderful experience. The place was incredibly cosy, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.     Varvitsa itself has nothing to do, but it is a very short drive to Karyes and Vamvakou, both of which were nice. But in general there are not a lot of things to do during winter. Ideal for a max. 2 night stay to relax and isolate!
