The hotel is very good, very clean with a modern design. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms have a good size with amenities and comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast with good variety. The hotel has parking garage. It's not in the old town but there is a bus stop next to the hotel that will take right to the old city Pile gate, buses are frequent and it's a 5 minute ride.

Rooms 45 and Room 47 were great. They had balconies, were clean, unscented, changed bedding/towels every 3 days, good shower, staff (Inez), location (40 min walk to old Town), safe, breakfast (order from menu, excellent cappuccinos). Room 47 had a beautiful view of the sea.

The hotel was amazing. It exceeded our expectations. We were there only for 2 nights but I regretted we didn’t plan to stay for a week or so. I booked the hotel with no expectations really and didn’t know it was an entire resort. Everything was amazing. You have few private beaches with sun beds and umbrellas that you can use free of charge. The sea by the hotel is perfect for snorkeling, you can go very deep 10m or so very fast but at the same time there is always rocks around to rest on. And there is plenty of fish in the sea :) I usually hate breakfasts at the hotels and I am very skeptical towards them, but here the breakfast was amazing with good quality products and free Prosecco available for grabs with your breakfasts. I guess that is because it’s a complex of hotels and one of them is 5* so you get the 5* treatments in the 4* hotel. Only a plus! There is a couple of restaurants and bars in the resorts plus few swimming pools, so you can really never leave the resort if you are looking for a perfect relaxing holidays. In the beginning I had a problem with the view from my room so our room got changed for the second night for one with a view I could like better :) good style! It was truly one of the best hotels I have ever been to!

The breakfasts were delicious every morning and we were greeted by friendly wait staff! The room looked out over the public square but it was not too noisy and we were not disturbed at night by loud noise etc. From the hotel, it was a short walk to many attractions. The hotel receptionists were very friendly and helpful.

FAQs about hotels in Dubrovnik

The Pearl of the Adriatic

A medieval beauty full of magnificence and glory, Dubrovnik is surrounded by white stone walls. Located on the Adriatic coast of Croatia, this masterpiece is one of the most promising tourist destinations.

Passing through the imposing stone gate of Pile Gate, you will find yourself immersed in history. Take a walk in the narrow streets of this charming city, enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the colourful cafés, or order fresh fish in one of the outdoor restaurants.

Surrounded by turquoise waters, Dubrovnik Old Town sights include the picturesque Stradun, Onofrio fountain and the Franciscan monastery.

The city’s cable car will take you up to Mount Srd from where you can savour panoramic views over the treasures of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Buses connect Dubrovnik Airport with the city centre, and Booking.com offers a variety of hotels, apartments, and guest houses throughout.

The walk on the walls was the greatest experience.

The walk on the walls was the greatest experience. Visiting the St. Lawrence Fortress nearby gave great views of Dubrovnik. Several more modest Italian pizzerias were fine for lunches; we didn't venture into higher end restaurants. Dubrovnik inside the walled city is quite small overall and most sights can be explored in a day ( but know that walking the wall can easily take 1-1 1/2 hours alone). Two days to experience the city would be adequate for most visitors. The Game of Thrones shops and memorabilia wasn't of much interest to us, although some guests may enjoy it more.

    Dubrovnik Old Town is beautiful.

Dubrovnik Old Town is beautiful. Numerous restaurants to chose from and food quality was high. Especially liked the Tala Restaurant on the main street for amazing burgers and cocktails. Buza Bar worth going to to enjoy a few hours with views out to the sea and although drinks are expensive lots of people were there just enjoying the view and the sun and sitting on the rocks without purchasing drinks and never felt rushed to leave. There are actually two Buza Bars which cater for the younger and older generation in the music they play so worth checking this out. Ice cream amazing dont miss it. Went to Montenegro for the day via Viator which was lovely but similar although not as nice as The Old Town so although enjoyed it is an early start and may not chose to do again. Got the local ferry over to Lokrum Island from the Old Town Harbour which cost $30 Euro each but spent a lovely time there exploring and sitting by the sea and there are several places to eat there. Cable car wasnt working which was a shame. Used Uber to arrange a taxi back to the airport picking up at Pile Gate which cost just under £20 and was worth it as used Shuttle Bus on way there and had to wait over 45 minutes at airport and cost $10 each so same price as private transfer and then had to stand so would recommend downloading Uber and booking that once you arrive at airport.

    Dubrovnik is gorgeous.

Dubrovnik is gorgeous. Not only the Old Town but also their small beaches all around. Great restaurants and little shops. Nice museums too. We picked up the best time to go, as I think summer would be too hot and too busy. People are very friendly and local wines are divine.

Dubrovnik, even in shoulder season, felt too touristy.

Dubrovnik, even in shoulder season, felt too touristy. There was no opportunity for individual interaction with local people except for those in the tourism industry. Although all people we interacted with in various tourist establishment were professional, it felt very transactional. Apart from the Old Town and a couple of islands locally, there was not much to do - you can get it all over in two days! Plus travel to Dubrovnik from Zadar was painful - 9.5 hours by bus with 37 stops! It appears that FlixBus in Dalmatia is unlike in other areas - it is more like a local bus service (although we did get fantastic views of the coastline), the bus actually had standing passengers an some prebooked customers had to stand!

Lapad is a great seaside resort though a little expensive. Only 30-40 minutes to walk into Old Town but check the cruise ship schedule first and pick your day as it can get very crowded. Walking the city walls is now 40 Euros but worth it.

Old town is a must to visit. Views from the old town wall are amazing. Plenty of shops for shopping and good eateries all reasonably priced. You need Dubrovnik pass to access the wall and other attractions and costs 40 Euros for a day. The public toilets can be accessed after paying 2euros

This is a truly amazing 5 star hotel. We stayed 4 nights in July and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed by the pool all day and enjoyed waiter/waitress service, fresh towels, piped music and great views out to sea of boats passing by. Breakfast was amazing, great choice and you could tell it was a Michelin starred chef who prepared the fresh hot food. Beautiful garden areas to sit and relax. Make sure you take photos from the top of the property at night with it all lit up. We highly recommend the Palace Natali.

This beautiful spacious apartment is more like a private suite in a five-star hotel. It has two terraces, one of which offers a magical view of the sea, the old town of Dubrovnik and breathtaking sunsets over sea. Perfectly clean, modern and equipped with everything you need during your stay - and even more. We especially appreciated the bathrobes. Also the owner was very kind and helpful.
