The view is phenomenal. Peaceful and pleasant in every way. The service was friendly and the food outstanding (It helps that the hotel is owned by the Culinary Institute of Zagreb). We couldn't have asked for more.

I can honestly say this was one of my best trips in Croatia in the last 20 years. This year we said we want to go somewhere where it is less crowded and location wise more out of the bigger cities. House Kaja is beautiful house with authentic looks, completely renovated interior, spacious rooms and everything you need during your summer stay. It has big fridge, oven and everything that you need for cooking. Airconditioning is very new and it cools down temperature very fast, beds are very comfortable. We were amazed with the views on Rab island and the outside part of the location, where infront of the house there is big flat space that can be used to chill on the sun or stay under couple of small trees that provide shadow. There is also big table outside to eat and possibility to use the outside shower. There are only 2 neihbours around and the place is really peacefull, withtout city noises and all you can hear are cars that are driving on the road below the location. There is not a lot of traffic anyhow and everyone that loves peace and quiet will be amazed here. The owner is so kind, she even allowed us to use the outside shower during our last day after hanging out in the beach untill 4 PM, which was way past the Check out time. If you like peace and quiet, with very cool view and beautiful authentic location to stay, this is the perfect choice. For the beaches, they are located around 8 km from location (6 minutes drive) in the city of Jablanac or Stinica, where the ferry to Rab island is located. Food store is located in the same village of Stinica, with basic things you need during your stay. If you need more fancy stuff, you got to travel to city of Senj which is located 35 km from the location.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. It feels like a place with a soul, where every detail has been chosen with purpose and care. The graceful, elegant style, charming decorations, and all the beautiful greenery around make it feel warm and full of life. Our room was clean, nicely furnished, and had a big terrace with a sea view. Sitting out there in the morning or evening, just watching the sea, was one of our favorite things. Breakfast was very good, served on the restaurant terrace which was absolutely lovely, surrounded by beautiful plants with a view of the sea in the background. There was plenty of food to choose from, though I wouldn’t have minded a bit more fresh fruit and veggies. In front of the hotel there’s a quiet, relaxing lawn with sunbeds and a shower, offering plenty of shade from olive and mulberry trees. Just a few steps away, you’ll find the beach and a lovely beach bar, which is super convenient. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be coming back someday!

We we’re lucky to have this beautiful apartment as first guests by chance. The sea is right in front of the door. There’s a wonderful sitting area under huge fig trees where you can chill. It was simply wonderful! Thanks to the best host! We will come back for sure :)

Beautiful apartment, fully equipped. The spaces are comfortable and perfectly laid out. We personally cooked every night because the kitchen was so well-equipped (it felt like home). The apartment was very clean and in a great location. The owner was kind.

    One of a few charming coastal villages along this bit of...

    One of a few charming coastal villages along this bit of wild coastline. Zavratnica bay, a 20 minute walk away, was a bit overrun but Jablanac itself was calm and welcoming. Banja beach below the hotel is a relic of 1920s/30s Italian bathing with steps down into the sea, diving board and beautiful water is the community meeting point. The village has 3 places to eat and drink…all with their own character.
