Villa Drago is located in the quiet town of Marina , away from the hustle and bustle of Trogir. Our host Drago and his wife were very warm , friendly and welcoming on our arrival and during our stay. Drago is an absolute gentleman. Villa Drago sits right on the coast of the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic. The centre of Marina is a 20 minute walk away and there is a Tommy and Studenac store for groceries. Across the road from the accommodation is a beach bar and a bakery.

The stay in apartment Datala was terrific. We stayed in for 12 days and enjoyed every minute. The kitchen is well-equipped. The big fridge allows you to buy and cool enough fruits, including the big watermelons that are so usual in Croatia and other stuff that needs cooling. When you do not want to go outside to the restaurant, you can prepare your meal on a glass ceramic induction hob, using different pans and pots from the kitchen cabinet. Part of the kitchen equipment is a manual espresso machine, which is also a significant advantage when having breakfast in the apartment. The king-size bed in the bedroom is very comfortable, and the cabinet where you can unpack all your stuff with enough hangers makes you feel at home. I did not try the comfortability of the other bed in the other bedroom, but as the kids did not claim and woke up every day in a good mood, I suppose that even this folding bed was comfy. The bathroom isn't very spacious, but it has everything you need! Besides the sink, toilet, and shower, the owner got into this room, as well as washing and drying machines and a cabinet with cleaning supplies. The only slight problem is with the parking. We were travelling with a Toyota ProAce Verso, which is not a tiny car. We left our car across the street when we arrived, but when we left the place because of the trip, it was occupied by someone else. Two or three days we parked our car in the parking place next to the house, but we received a note from the Ambulance staff (Ambulance is in the basement of the house); then we left our car on the main street leading to the beach, which was comfortable for us now as we were leaving the beach stuff in it. Marina is a small but well-equipped town with many restaurants, two supermarkets, a pharmacy, and a sweet shop that sells many different kinds of ice cream and makes pancakes. The beaches are not sandy but have little white stones, but you still needn't wear shoes.

The accommodation is located close to the center of Marina, on a quiet street, slightly on the hillside. The parking lot is enclosed and shaded, and the apartment is clean, well-equipped, and renovated. The hosts, who live on the ground floor of the building, are extremely kind and helpful; they even helped us solve a technical problem with our car. This apartment is an excellent choice in terms of value for money.

    This is a lovely little town, with very nice restaurants, well-priced. We liked that the town is not touristy at all. We did a lot of walking in the area. I wish we had time to visit the beach - it looked nice.

    Marina was lovely. It is a Marina.

    Marina was lovely. It is a Marina. The port is the focal point for everything going on. There are restaurants and a few shops. We were lucky enough to coincide with local celebrations on 25th July which meant a popular Croatian band played in the centre. If you are after rest and relaxation this is the place to go!

    I went to Marina to pick up/return a boat from marina Agana; it was a perfect choice because it was so close and it has a nice beach for a first/last swim. I would not spend more than one day there though.

    Lovely location with a choice of local restaurants/bars and two supermarkets. Decent range of cheap local bus options to get to/from Trogir from the centre of Marina and some direct bus options to Split from the main road.

    A lovely new modern hotel in a quiet fishing village.

    A lovely new modern hotel in a quiet fishing village. Many Multi-generational Croatian families using the public beach in front of the hotel. A few local restaurants. A lovely quiet location for a short "fly and flop" stay. I would return!

    We visited Marina and stayed in Villa Dolac.

    We visited Marina and stayed in Villa Dolac. It truly is a beautiful, peaceful place, surrounded by untouched nature but close to the shops, beach, great bars and restaurants by the sea. In the village is one of the best restaurant we have ever experienced - Konoba Sesula. We could jog by the hills every day, play sports, exercise in the gym, have fun by the amazing infinity heated pool without disturbing anyone, the villa is excellent for athletes and families. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Croatia, Trogir and Split.

    The penthouse is luxurious and spacious. The quality is second to none, the hosts are super professional and very fast and easy to deal with. The terrace overlooking the bay has a view that is just breathtaking. I can not recomend this place ennough. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, but still be close enough to shopping, restaurants and beautiful beaches - then this is the place!

    The warm service throughout our stay was incredible. We received help always, quickly and in any topic. The location is fantastic, the beach and the centre of Marina is walking distance, really. The apartment was extremely clean upon arrival, loved it, too. Nicely equipped kitchen was helping us throughout.

    We wanted to get to the Marina. There is a frequent bus and taxi option, but not possible to walk because coast route eventually pushes you up to road without footpath. However the location was very close and convenient. Excellent dinner, breakfast and rooftop bar. Very comfortable room.
