Veszprem is a small city, with some very impressive architecture, and interesting history. Also a nice place to just explore . The area along the riverside which passes the bottom entrance to the zoo then reaches a really nice park is a favoured walk for us . The centre has a good selection of restaurants catering to a variety of tastes and budgets . One thing to be aware of is that lunch is the Hungarian main meal of the day , therefore we have a couple of times tried to get a meal a bit later on the evening , depending on the time of year or day of the week that has sometimes been hard to find . Getting around , we can walk anywhere it’s a compact city . We generally get a lift from family to and from Station, after that we walk , if your fairly fit and can walk for about an hour I think you won’t need public transport but it is available if required . We are 3 adults so can’t say what children would like other the zoo and ice cream shops which are very good .Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom - 6.0

I was there to see a band at Gyárkert, a venue in Veszprém. I explored the old town a bit but, at most, it should only take you 2 hours to get through the whole thing. Perfectly equipped, good location, spacious, silent, easy to check in and out. All the details are designed wisely. The staff was very kind, and prepared everything for our baby girl as well.
