Everything about my stay was beyond amazing — the service, the food, the cleanliness, and every single staff member was respectful and professional. I will definitely come back again.     The whole island is a 3rd world nightmare best suited for influencers and hipster plebs from around the world who enjoy being served upon by those living just above poverty. Aside from the food and the lovely personality of the Balinese there are no redeeming qualities of the island. its chaotic, dirty and full of plebs posing around like they are special.

    Canggu has a nice mix of things for every age group.

    Canggu has a nice mix of things for every age group. It has wonderful cafes (Milk and Madu), beach clubs (La Brisa), restaurants (Longtime; Lulu’s), clubs and bistros (Margaret bistro). There’s also yoga, fitness and spas. It ticks all the boxes. Just be mindful when ordering salads, vegetable juice or iced drinks from certain places, as the tap water is not potable. It is also a short distance away from Seminyak (which has a lot of shopping; our kid loves places like Stroberi, Kids à gogo and Candyland).

    Canggu has everything I look for in a Bali trip.

    Canggu has everything I look for in a Bali trip. Great waves for surfing cool beach clubs all-day cafés amazing food and some of the best spas I have ever tried. The vibe is laid back but still full of life. Everything is super close so you can walk or ride a bike and never get bored. One minute you are in a quiet rice field the next you are in a trendy restaurant or catching sunset at the beach. It is a place where you can relax have fun and feel like you are part of something cool without it being too much.

    Nice and close to Nuanu, which definitely needs more than a day to see. Beautiful beach club and amazing light art installations. Got to hold a bat at Tanah Lot - but don’t get the Gado Gado from the restaurants there.

    I’ve travelled to Bali a lot over the years but have never stayed in Canggu. It has really top quality restaurants, shops and spas. But I wouldn’t be rushing back the traffic was a terrible and getting Around took so long to get anywhere. The trip to the airport took 2 1/2 hours which was approximately 17 klm from where I was staying and not in peak hour!!!

    Canggu is a crazy wild place too much traffic lots of young people all getting drunk. Lovely beaches but this is definitely for the 20-35 age range. The traffic is terrible it takes 30 minutes to go 1 mile you can walk quicker if it was a direct route and they had sidewalks which the scooters don't use to now drive on. Everyone is trying to get past the next vehicle it's so dangerous no controls anywhere it's a traffic free for all.

Villa is located right in the heart of Canggu and in walking distance of most busy restaurants and beach clubs, or you can rent a bike from the villa direct which was a very good price and convenient! The villa looks exactly like the photos and is truly beautiful. Thank you so so much Agus and the boys for a truly amazing first trip to Bali.

    Wow. I really wish I discovered this place sooner. I had been in Bali for a month switching between hotels and guest houses. The Hideaway provides the best of both worlds. Exceptionally clean and well maintained, it is walking distance of a few good cafes and the beach. There's ample parking for motorbikes. I like the fact that the room had both a fan and air conditioning. It's such a nice environment - quiet and away from the noise of the traffic. Just a beautiful place to be.

    One of my favorite hotels in Bali. Excellent big rooms, the ones I’ve stayed in, with comfortable bed and everything else I need. Facing a lovely pool and garden. Quiet even if it’s in the middle of Echo Beach close to La Brisa and the beach where there’s one of Canggus best surf spots.
