Hidden gem in Maumere; the bungalows are facing the sea, food is great. Claudia, the host, is very helpful and friendly; she’ll take you diving/snorkeling instructor great spots. And you can enjoy amazing sunsets from the property. I definitely recommend spending as much time as you can at Happy dive retreat!

The bungalow was very spacious and well decorated. The terrasse was amazing and it was a really pleasant to sit and eat breakfast there. The breakfast was well served and delicious! The owner is very kind and helpful, she helped us get a scooter as well as a shared taxi to Moni. It is pretty close to beach, where you'll find a nice restaurant located on Sea World resort. It is not close to center of Maumere, but it didn't bother us at all.

Everything. We've been travelling for ten months, and this was the best value for money we had on the whole trip. It's directly at the beach, which is clean and amazing. The huts are exceptionally clean, bright, and huge. Food is great. Service is perfect. An airport taxi was organised for us very early morning. We could only stay one night, but would have loved to stay a week.

Amazing place with a sea view and a lot of palms, free tea and coffee, large room, laudry, they can clean your room and change your towel when you need it. Best breakfast ever in Indonesia (pancake, nasi goreng, tea, coffee, homemade marmelade). Susy and her doughter are simply amazing, cute and always helpful! We felt like at home
