Three Ken was a really nice surprise. It is located at the prime location in Bunaken, first row. The two rooms are next to each other above the restaurant. The family is a super friendly, they get you everything organized. But the best is really the food, prepared by Mama Inge; really well cooked food with veggies, mostly fish - fresh tuna was the best - not this deep fried stuff… In the evenings the locals always played music, some tourists were joining - big fun! Full recommendation from our side (we stayed there 5 nights, extending our stay in Bunaken) had both rooms: one for my wife and me and one for our two kids.

The room had an amazing view overlooking the beach and ocean. The room was very spacious, had a big bed and a very good fan that definitely cooled the room down enough. The bathroom was simple but worked perfectly and had everything you needed. Mama Lis was the kindest, most caring woman, always looking over my needs, cooking amazing dishes with a lot of variety and always had a very big smile on her face. I felt at home there and would have stayed even longer if I could have. If you want to have breakfast every day overlooking the ocean and the best host I would definitely recommend staying here.

The infrastructure of the MC accommodation I booked this time is sufficient for tourists with modest requirements. The service team is incredibly friendly and helpful, offering plenty of excellent travel tips. The in - house dive shop charges reasonably and doesn't engage in excessive promotion. The rooms come with air - conditioners, which are crucial for those of us who can't stand humidity and heat. The shower uses desalinated cold water that has a faint salty taste, but it doesn't mar the experience. There are basic tables and stools in the room, which meet our needs. The beds are large and comfortable. If you're not picky about room space, it's quite adequate. The daily meals are delicious Indonesian specialties. The hotel is superbly located right by the sea. It's just a ten - minute walk to the nearby beaches for snorkeling. There, you can witness coral gardens and huge underwater drop - offs, along with an abundance of fish and turtles. It's a magnificent sight. Due to the rainy season and our brief stay this time, I didn't get to try scuba diving. However, I'll definitely choose MC accommodation again. They have more upscale and comfortable options available to suit different needs.

We had the chance to stay 4 nights at Thalassa with our two children (Villa Ginseng). We absolutely loved exploring Manado and its surroundings and introducing the whole family to snorkeling in a breathtaking setting, all perfectly organized by the resort team. Everything was simply fantastic! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, the surroundings were stunning, and the food was absolutely delicious. The relaxing village vibe was really great as we bonded over snorkeling/diving activities and meals with other guests. Food was great too as they catered to our halal needs. Vivi our host was great at coordinating our activities and the entire crew gave top notch services and became our second family throughout our entire stay. Did the discover dive and Dylan, the instructor, was patient and gave good instructions. Made me feel safe as a first time diver.

Amazing people, amazing diving, amazing island! We loved every minute of our stay at 3 will. The facilities are simple but provide a real island life experience, food was good and plentiful (also, milk was provided for coffee) and the staff is exceptional - apart from diving, they also offer additional services such as scooter rent, massage, etc. Special thanks to our OWD/AOWD instructors Connor and Joe, who provided a wonderful learning environment and made us feel confident under water. We also had much fun with the owner of the resort, Milos, who is a living encyclopaedia and even helped us with our itinerary for the rest of our trip! Highly recommended! Last but not least - more gasoline, more better sing!👌
