The villa was amazing, located in the jungle and offered exactly what we were looking for: nature, quiet place, private pool. An amazing experience. The staff was adorable, loved them. Always helpful and very responsive. Very nice people. Due to its location, you need a 5 min buggy ride from the drop point (where taxi or driver - cars , leave you) however they were very responsive to ensure the pick up at any hour. We had a great floating breakfast. Spa room is also surrounded by vegetation- i have enjoyed a massage while listening to the river nearby Everything looked exactly like in the pictures, however you really need to want this experience. If you want something close to the city, easy to commute, walking distance , more like a continental experience, this is not the place.

Super beautiful resort in the middle of the jungle! The staff is always one step ahead of you, to fulfil every wish. The Spa area is very clean and the staff super professional! Love everything about this resort : serene and tranquil location, breathtaking swimming pool, amazingly beautiful villas, and the enjoyable yoga class every afternoon with the sounds of the streams from the Ayung River (such rare experiences and unforgettable moment!), but one thing that is the most outstanding experience from this resort is the hospitality and the services of their staff, everyone are very kind, friendly, helpful and engaging in every conversations we have, not just regular hospitality, but they are also sharing their cultural balinese values with us. The manager always come to our table with his friendly greetings and always makes sure that we have a great experience during our stay. It was a memorable experience for us staying in Hanging Gardens Ubud, we will come back gere for sure !

    Payangan is about 20 - 30 minutes out of Ubud, depending on traffic. It is an excellent introduction to Balinese village life and the 'real' Bali. There are no facilities except some basic little general stores, and no ATM in the village. Outside of the hotels, there are no restaurants. It's a 'get away from it all' destination.

    + - Beautiful place - Amazing surroundings. - Friendly staff - Good food - Spacious rooms - - Little flaws in the room (airco and fan not working properly) - Little bit overpriced (laundry service, taxi service) - Staff should put out cushions by the pool when pool opens (we had to ask after being there for 2 hours) - The charge of 10% service fee on everything really bothered us.

    The area is spectacularly beautiful however it cops a lot of rain and there can be land slides which cut road access. Our hotel (Adiwana Dara Ayu Villas) was a long way from other properties, so eating options (hotels, restaurants, local warungs) were non existent and sadly as the food in our hotel was abysmal (even the Indonesian was done badly) we skipped eating meals which diminished the pleasure of the holiday.

    It was first time in Bali and have been staying for 2 weeks in different places but I have to say that Sacred Canyon is by far the best acomodation.❤️ I had an amazing time there, the place it's very clean, peaceful, the location it's perfect if you love nature (very close to the rise fields). The place has a special energy which is hard to describe in words, I would definitely recommend it and for sure I will return for a longer stay. Special thanks to Synthia and all the stuff they are very attentive and sweet.🙏

    Location is quiet and secluded in a forest. The distance from ubud needs to be planned around if want to explore on an evening and eat away from the hotel. If wanting to relax on evening the restaurant and pool area is good place to do so. The spa service are very good, the facial and Bali massage a must. The genuine forest sound is very relaxing. The breakfast and evening meals are very good with plenty of choice for all tastes. This was our second stay here, and we will continue to return when we visit Bali.

    Villa Wastra is a very special place. A visit to Villa Wastra enables you to imagine Bali before the arrival of global tourism. Surrounded by nature, it's situation and views are spectacular. The amenities are excellent and spotlessly clean. Not least are the friendly staff and Ibu Mariah who takes care of every detail.

    Beautiful typical balinese houses in a beautiful garden surrounded by rice fields. It is soooo peaceful compared to the crowded Ubud, you 'll need a taxi to get to Ubud , but you'll feel so relaxed in this place... Highly recommanded !
