The place’s name describes itself - Heaven in Bali. The pool has a beautiful view of the jungle and fields on the other side. The purple room we had is close to the pool and it looked like it’s our own private pool 😊 it was a peaceful and quiet place, away from the busy streets and city. They offer also dinner a la cart, and the juices they make are very yummy 🤤 we came with a motorbike and they have a garage, where you can park. It is close to Kintamani, if you plan to hike the mount Batur. The only advice I can give is that the electrical sockets and corners next to the bed could be cleaned a bit more or the electrical divider replaced, because the phone charger didn’t stay in the socket well and it kept falling out. But that’s a minor thing 😊

I have just returned from 12 amazing nights at the Fire Flies Garden Villa and all I can say is wow 🥰 The whole trip was fantastic ❤️, I loved every single minute. The villa was absolutely beautiful, just as described and if possible even more gorgeous in real life! The villa is stunning with own private infinity pool, wow! Absolutely perfect for me as a solo female traveller. Nothing was too much trouble, breakfast brought to the room, lunch & dinner provided too should you require. The food was lovingly prepared, fresh food, and gorgeous fresh fruit juices. The villa is situated in Taro one of the oldest villages in Bali. I didn't hire a scooter or car but managed perfectly by hiring a driver for half or full days,( a driver recommended by the hosts) enabling me to see all the sights I wanted to including beach etc. Driver costs very reasonable. I spent a great deal of time at the villa as I came away for some R&, R and wow I certainly got some 🥰 To add even more the fire flies garden is absolutely magnificent and an absolute must 🥰 So if you are looking at travelling to Bali and a little unsure.. trust me book Fire Flies Garden Villas to experience your own little private heaven 🥰 I was very sad to leave and will absolutely return ❤️

Great spacious place, clean, beautiful location - calm and soothing, it appeared that we were the only foreigners in the village. Short walk to the elephant park and to the beautiful park down the hill. We were sad leaving this little paradise behind

Govinda is in a really nice neighbourhood in the jungle from where you can go to several cultural programs. The service and the house was perfect and private, they try everything to please you. I would give my biggest positive compliment to Dono who was taking us everywhere in the neighbourhood. He speaks really good English and knows and explains you everything you want to know. Big big compliment! We didnt know but he also offers a pick up and drop off service from the airport, so my advise to future guests is to take this opportunity.

Everything about the place was really nice,if you like being out of town away from chaos,this is one the best villas to stay in. What made it amazing was the manager there Tya, she was so unbelievably nice an helpful, her english is very good so communication wasn't an issue, anything I needed she was able to help with or point me in the right direction. Next time I come back to bali I will be staying there again and for a longer period.

The rooms and the ambiance was great. It was a little far from the Ubud City Center but the calmness and greenery was worth it. It takes approx 5 min from center if you have rented a bike. The staff is very friendly and made sure we had a pleasant stay.

    From the moment I arrived l felt very welcomed by the owners...

    From the moment I arrived l felt very welcomed by the owners & staff who made me feel like part of the family knowing l was travelling alone. My villa had a private garden & verandah with my own pond with fish & a waterfall. Such a peaceful & beautifully spacious room serviced daily. The organic food & drinks were delicious & the house frozen margarita became a daily treat for me. Prices were so inexpensive so l could indulge. The staff are always smiling & laughing as this boutique resort is a place they love to be also . The views are breathtaking & the peace it brought me filled my heart with such joy. I highly recommend this to any traveller .
