Pros: there is a Wi-Fi ready to help the girls at the reception (they gave my son a deep plate when he needed it), a good location from the beach - 2 steps, a beautiful facade of the building, there is stable hot water - a big plus.

Hadi has built a truly special place in a stunning corner of East Java. His lodge is beautifully crafted, the room we stayed in was so well built & designed, a gorgeous outdoor bathroom, good working air con & a water cooler, very comfortable bed and lovely little deck area. The grounds are stunning and perfect to relax in. Hadi and his staff went above & beyond to accommodate our needs & make sure we were happy and comfortable, even posting my earphones to me when i accidentally left them in his drivers car! He is a truly wonderful host (one of the best we had in all of Indonesia) and a very kind person. We hope to come back one day soon.

The property is just steps away from the surf spot, and the selection of rental boards is not only extensive but also in excellent condition—something rare in the area. The amenities are top-notch: the coffee is exceptionally good (a rarity around here), and the rooms are comfortable and well-equipped with a perfectly cozy bed, reliable AC, and a hot water shower—everything you need after a day of surfing or exploring. Also, the property’s restaurant is exceptional! What really sets this place apart is the exceptional service. Kukuh, the manager, goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is seamless. Whether it’s arranging a scooter rental, helping you buy local coffee, organizing a driver, or even planning a visit to the Turtle Reserve, he’s always ready to assist with a smile and genuine kindness. The place looks amazing. The room was clean and spacious, and its view is on a beautiful garden. Sri is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is very good. The beach is 2 minutes walking. We definitely recommend this place!

This place is gorgeous. Beautiful room, clean, grounds and pool are lovely. Breakfast was all you could need. Would 100% stay here again. We even arrived late after check in and someone was happy to help us get in still!

The guesthouse is located in a beautiful garden - through huge windows of your spacious room you can admire how well maintained it is. The area has a nice swimming pool with cooling water and sunbeds. Rooms are specious and super clean. Aris and his wife Lisa run this place with a lot of love, what you can especially feel in the delicious food they serve and the conversations you exchange :) thanks to their hospitality and help with organizing our trip to Meru Beitiri and Sukamade Beach we came back home with unforgettable memories. Do ask Aris about Sukamade and do not leave Kalibaru without going there.
