Excellent stay ! If I could give an 11/10 I would. The place is charming, beautifully done and the equipments are top quality. The staff is very professionnal and welcoming. We totally felt like home. It is quiet (we slept so well!) But close to canggu and all activities . We would come back without hesitation.

The rooms were modern and spacious, we had a private pool which was lovely,could just do with some sun loungers there as well, staff were amazing, organised transfers,gloating breakfast and my wife had the best massage ever. Will return if we are in the area

    Tanah lot temple precinct has become a bit of a tourist...

    Tanah lot temple precinct has become a bit of a tourist theme park catering for all ages. and hoards of Java school kids on excursions. Great fun for kids with everything from ice creams to dinosaurs. Definitely worth a walk up the hill to the left of the precinct and meet a couple of pet Civets who are the "coffee" bean producers for the civet coffee. Buy a cup and pat the civet who had processed the beans - like great big cats. All the shops basically sold the same items as everywhere so can be easily skipped. I had not been to Tanah lot since 1980 so the overwhelming "touristifcation" was disconcerting and I doubt you can see the sacred sea snake in the hole under the temple anymore, but I am pleased I went and had fun taking selfies with the sculptures, both traditional and just downright weird.

    Well, maybe it said somewhere and I didn't see it but ...you...

    Well, maybe it said somewhere and I didn't see it but ...you go down to the temple, you cross the water (if you are there at the right time of course because if it is a high tide the path to the temple will be closed) you get to the other side, you get stopped to be blessed (you pay the donation) you go up the stairs and the gate is closed. What!? So you can just turn around and cross the water again.

    I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely the Natya Hotel Tanah Lot is. We had a family room which was incredibly well done, it was large with seperate rooms and bathrooms. The gardens are superb and pool was very clean. The food from the restaurant was delicious. Staying here allows us to visit the temple at sunrise with no one else around. The town is quiet without all the traffic and we really enjoyed staying here.

    The day bed on top of the roof villa is a lovely spot. The pool is long and shady. Komang our fantastic driver from the hotel picked is up from the airport and drove us around Bali for three days. He is an excellent driver, safe, friendly and patient. Next door' restaurant Tipsy Pigs is friendly, good food and juices and reasonable priced. Easy walk to Tanah Lot temple.

    Paradise in Bali - wonderful staff. They let us use the washing machine and tumble dryer, offered to give us lifts (although we preferred to walk) and gave us all of the local knowledge on going down to Tanah Lot temple. Lovely rooms, incredible pool and setting. Will definitely return, a highlight of our 3 weeks in Bali.
