I booked my stay, jungle trek and transfer with The Jungle Guide and it was honestly one of the best experiences of my 4 month trip. The staff were incredibly nice and very good singers. The accommodation was clean and exactly what you want before and after the trek, with a nice balcony and hammock. The trek itself was incredible. Bob is the best guide and helped me safely through the jungle, with much expertise about the wildlife, jungle and local culture. He knew fun facts and of course the amazing viewings of the animals such as Orang-utans, and views. Could have wished for a better guide! The accommodation in the jungle was basic but had all necessities, and a nice stream to cool off, and the food was so good.

We had a great time at the Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges. Tia is an amazing host and we felt right at home from the beginning. She was very helpful with organizing transfers and a jungle expedition. The food was great and the Bintang was cold. Thank you for the warm welcome!

I will tell you what to do: 1. Learn English 2. Buy flight tickets 3. Buy some rupees 'Uncle Sam' takes care of everything else (airport transportation, food, drinks, trekking, traveling in the forest... whatever comes to your mind). Opening your window curtains and seeing the Rainforest and the river... I'll be honest, I didn't expect this much. It was an incredible experience for me.

Pretty much everything! :) So attentive and friendly staff, every one of them, amazing jungle trekk with guides, we felt so welcome! Cozy and very spacious rooms, warm water shower with a view to the trees and stars, not easy du describe, must be experienced! :) Will definitely come back!

Fantastic hotel, very friendly and helpful hotel team, great location. Rooms are tastefully decorated, bed is convenient. We have arranged the jungle tour through the hotel and everything about it was amazing: tour guide and the team, fruit snacks and tasty lunch, opportunity to see orangutans in their natural habitat as close as couple of meters away, great and sometimes quite challenging jungle walk and the highlight of the trip - tubing on the river. Highly recommend Orangutan hotel to everyone traveling to Bukit Lawang!

Came to jhony’s for two days trekking tour through the jungle and was an incredible experience, from the start seeing orangutans and many monkeys around , the five start hotel in the jungle for the first night was special and the next day rafting to coming back to our a accomodation in Bukit lawang was the perfect close .     Best to train up and be fit for jungle trekking as some climbs can be a bit steep. Also it's very hot and humid. If you wanna take good pictures, don't rely on mobile phones as you'll need to zoom in quite a bit with orang utans perched high up among the trees
