A perfect place to dive and learn diving Tulamben is a peaceful little town and an amazing spot for both scuba diving and freediving. The water is calm, visibility is great, and marine life is rich, from colourful coral to bumphead parrotfish. The famous USAT Liberty wreck is a must-see, accessible right from shore. It’s also a great place to learn diving – many friendly, professional instructors and dive centres around. Whether you're a beginner or ean xperienced diver, you'll love it here. A must see dive spot to explore. Or even for amateur snorkellers. Beautiful submarine wreck so close to the shore and amazing and colourful sea creatures to witness. Tulamben is famous for the sunken wreck, Liberty. Most tourists visit Tulamben has the main purpose of scuba diving (not sunbathing). This diving spot is very good for open water divers with little experience. It has very little of current due to the bay shielding from fast-moving water. Tulamben is a great, quiet place to stay if you like diving.
Tulamben is a great, quiet place to stay if you like diving. There are a number of diving operators based there. There are a range of restaurants assocated with the diving hotels, and also tasty local Warungs available for the more adventurous. I recommend a 3 night stay to enjoy the diving opportunities here. Tulamben is nestled between the rocky beach and the mountains and is very beautiful.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

Go there to dive the Liberty wreck only. The "coral gardens" supposedly off the resort are quite poor, Jemeluk is better. The food at the resort was excellent, but I was so annoyed at being given the wrong villa that I didn't eat there after the first night. This issue with the ocean view villas has happened to others as well- make sure you are given what you have paid for.Guest review byGailAustralia

It has direct beach access which few resorts have in Tulamben . The resort is well looked after and has lovely grounds. Beds are comfortable and showers always hot. WIFI works well.Water refill stations around the hotel ensure less use of plastic bottles. The dive centre is well organized and the dive times are flexible according to guests wishes. The sea shore is just steps away and we went scuba diving and there are so many fishes, love it. We also paid 79 pp for diving and it was also very nice.
